Run The World is an American comedy show about an energetic and deeply committed Black women. The women are from Harlem and seek to conquer the world. The show has eight half-hour episodes. The first season of the show was created by Leigh Davenport, was launched on May 16 2021..
The show announced its return a little over one month after the premiere in the premiere season. The official Twitter account for the show confirmed its return. After that there was no news or tweets, or the Twitter account has been removed from the Twitter account.

The cast from season 1 will reprise their roles in season 2. The actors are
- Amber Stevens West portrays Whitney, who is a banker, and wants to wed her fiance, Ola
- Andrea Bordeaux played Ella,who is an author who is trying to adapt to a new job on the site Hot Tea Digest
- Bresha Webb was Renee, who is a marketer. She is hilarious, however, she is struggling with a declining marriage.
- Corbin Reid played Sondi,who is an doctoral student who is having a secret affair with her dissertation advisor Matthew
- Stephen Bishop played Matthew,who is an academic at a college, raising his child, Amari and a single dad.
- Tosin Morohunfola was Ola,who is an American-Nigerian physician who was engaged to Whitney
- Erika Alexander as Barbwho has Ella’s job as her boss, and also the administrator of the Hot Tea Digest website
- Ellie Reine played Amari Powell,who is the young daughter of Mathew
- Nick Sagar was Anderson
Tika Sumpter plays Amari’s birth mother. Comedian CP will be playing Preston in season 2. Isha Blaaker was Philip Houston, who is Whitney’s ex-business rival. Rosie O’Donnell played Nancy, who is a therapist for all women.
Run The World Season 2 release date
Following the confirmation of renewing the show, there’s no news regarding the date of release. The creators were planning to release the show before 2022’s end in light of how urgent the announcement of renewal was. The network is yet to announce an official release date.
